OVERVIEW
Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit is a novel by Jeanette Winterson published in 1985, which she subsequently adapted into a BBC television drama of the same name.
It is a coming-of-age story about a lesbian girl who grows up in an English Pentecostal community. Key themes of the book include transition from youth to adulthood, complex family relationships, same-sex relationships,
and religion.


Final designs
Came up with 3 different concepts and 3 different styles for the book covers.​ For the first one, abstract geometrical oranges. Triangles used to be an LGBT icon back in the days. The second cover has an abstract image of the girl, who is hiding and the triangle shape. The third cover has an abstract lady's body with red hair and an underwear with the triangle shape.
